I was too excited to wait before I at least posted one photograph from my whimsical horror photo-shoot. As one of my last projects as a student at Northwest College of Art and Design I had to really push myself. Do something I had never done before. Teaming up with a friend, a master in horror, Bree Ogden, she helped me come up with an idea. Whimsical Horror. I am not a huge fan of horror and that is what made this project intriguing and would push the boundaries of my comfort in photography. A fellow student agreed to be my model when I did a previous photoshoot with her. She was the perfect look.

And I am loving the results! I laugh when I see the fake severed fingers, and her standing in front of the shed with an old breaking apart hatchet and a rolling pin. I love the irony of her sewing her head on in the mornings and taking a bath in well, questionable suds. For now, here is one photograph of her cooking dinner. It is the “Average Day of Your Not So Average House Wife.”
