I made a threat a year ago that I was going to keep up on my blog and I was so awesome at it for… a few short months. Strange thing is that I love to write so up keeping a blog would be ideal for me. That is what I love about the internet, all these amazing blogs and forums for people to just be creative and put themselves out there. Makes the idea of rejection, well, less scary. I can post all I want and my small fan base will support me!

But to recap, this last year since March 18th, which was my last posting, I ended up getting a graphic design job at a printing company called DPI Print in Gig Harbor, WA. It was a great job. I was able to really build my portfolio and it was always so awesome seeing my work plastered all over the Key Peninsula. It always kept me busy. But of course there came a time where I had to move on, which was good, and so now I am fully committed to my own company, ALimages. I left on good terms and still do some work for DPI and I also received some amazing clients from there. I highly recommend them for printing needs and other promotional products. I am excited for this new(ish) chapter in my life. Graphic design is fun and still a huge major part of my business but I also want to focus more on Photography. I have attempted my own business for a few years but always got other opportunities and so it has always been put on the back burner. But, that is not the case, this company is like my second child and will be my bread and butter.

Photography is my passion.  The other day someone asked me what I did for a living, I said I owned my company doing photography and graphic design. Then they asked me what I did for fun. My reply? Photography and graphic design! I felt so awesome that I do what I love and I love what I do.

So, keep checking back and as more blog entries, status up-dates, tweets and projects go up. I am looking forward to sharing my business and talents with you.
