This is it, the Year of ’18.
2018 will be my best year yet.
2017: My Year of Art project was about exploration and learning. (Read about it here: 2017: My Year of Art Project…SUCCESS!)
2018 is going to be a year I take action and DO.
I am going to do things in the amount of 18! For example, I will make 18 paintings, read 18 books, complete 18 sketchbooks…etc.
Hence the title, Year of ’18.
I don’t want to reveal all of what I am doing. I don’t want to set up myself up, or make a promise to do things I can’t keep. I have the list and I have already started! I will definitely be sharing what I am doing as I go along and as I accomplish things.
There will be an increase of Instagram (@thealimges) postings as I am going to be using that as my main platform for sharing this experience.
Every month on the, you guessed it, 18th, I will be posting on my blog of my progress.
I am doing this to put myself out there and be productive. This will undoubtedly increase my skills and by the end of the year I should exponentially be better than where I was at the beginning.
I say I want to be an artist, photographer, writer and graphic designer, well, now, right NOW, is my chance to prove it!
