I try to always keep my camera with me. It is a little more challenging than I thought. However, when going places and I see something interesting I never make the quick decision to pull over and photograph it.
Last year when I was going to the Hoh Rainforest with my brother and his wife, I saw this skate at the side of the road with a flower coming from it. I joked about pulling over and photographing it. To my surprise my sister-in-law stopped, turned around and went to the spot. Here is one of the pictures I got:
The other day when I was driving I saw something really neat, a heard of Elk. I decided to stop to see what I could get. I was more excited that I took the chance to safely pull over to get some photographs than what I was photographing.
Each day I am becoming more daring and more adventurous with my photography and seeking opportunities to photograph.
