I have decided to give my art adventure I am going on this year an official title. That way I know what to put in my postings. It will help me to be able to refer to it when I talk about it and when I write about it. It isn’t anything clever or whimsical but it just states the fact of what it is:
This is an art project. This year I will go beyond just creating art. It is a process of discovering what kind of artist I am, what I need to create as an artist, figure out my artistic style and exploring the art around me. I will be trying all different styles, techniques, mediums and subjects. I will be looking at all art both in person and in study. I will be watching tutorials and taking classes and seminars. There is a lot I don’t know and I will learn as much as I can to add to what I do know. I will be participating in creative online challenges and websites as well.
I have over 10 years of professional experience and education in art, graphic design and photography so I am excited to take that knowledge and experience into this project. It is time to take it all just a step further in this natural progression of my career.
